And if by any chance you feel like you’ve suffered enough along with the characters,then NO! The author still has to put you through the end to the story where you feel as if you’re on an emotional rollercoaster and everything’s uncertain right to the point where you think if even the female protagonist will ever survive all this. We find out about a lot of things that shock us to the core and some incidents that leaves us heartbroken in the second book ‘ Inferno‘ but we ultimately have to drag ourselves to the third and final book ‘ Mafiosa‘.
The book takes turns in a series of mysterious and unexpected events after the night where Sophie crashes into one of the member of the family,literally! The suspense after that is killing and it leaves you absolutely clueless and baffled as to what is happening.There’s violence and shock and the end leaves you thinking that this is indeed THE END but it’s not and turns out the author has to put you through more misery and heartbreak as well as more godforsaken suspense!
This results in gossip to fly around the neighborhood about the mysterious family and so it’s natural for Sophie to be curious. Her life seems pretty normal or so she wishes it was, what with her father send away to prison for a crime, we find out about further in the book.The real story starts when a family moves into a mansion in the small town which has been vacant for a good couple of years. The story starts with the first book ‘ Vendetta‘ where Sophie Gracewell’s life revolves around her family diner that her uncle owns,her amazing best friend and her mother.
